    Privacy Policy

    Effective April 2026

    1. Information We Collect

    Information You Provide

    • Account information: name, email address, professional title, location, LinkedIn profile URL as you provide or authorize.
    • Profile content: uploaded screenshots, text, and voice messages you choose to add.
    • Request link submissions: feedback submitted by collaborators about you through a request link.
    • Payment information: processed by third-party payment processors. RepVera does not store your full card number in our application database.

    Information Collected Automatically

    • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session information.
    • Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and similar technical data.
    • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy.

    Information From Third Parties

If you connect LinkedIn, we receive the name, email, and headline (or similar fields) as you authorize through that platform. We do not store your LinkedIn password.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    • Provide and operate the RepVera platform.
    • Generate AI pattern summaries from verified and eligible receipts, as designed.
    • Send verification emails and service notifications.
    • Process payments and manage subscriptions, where applicable.
    • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and coordinated manipulation.
    • Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information in the colloquial sense, and we do not use your content to run third-party ad targeting of you.

    3. How We Share Your Information

    • Service providers who assist us (hosting, email delivery, security, payments), under appropriate contracts.
    • Legal requirements when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required.
    • Business transfers in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.

We do not provide your data to employers, ATS providers, or recruiters for their independent use, except to the extent you voluntarily share your public profile link or content (for example, by sending your own link), which is an action you control.

    4. Public Profile Data

If you publish a public profile, the content you choose to display is visible to visitors with the link and may be indexed by search engines. You control which receipts to display, subject to product settings. You may unpublish or delete your profile in accordance with product features.

    5. Contributor Data

Contributors who submit feedback may not be required to create a full account. We process their submission, verification-related information, and related technical data. We use hashed identifiers where described in our technical documentation and Terms of Use, and we do not use contributor email in ways inconsistent with the Privacy Policy. Verification messages are time-limited to the purpose of authorship confirmation.

    6. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active. After account deletion, we remove data from active systems on a reasonable schedule (e.g., within 30 days) and from backups on a longer schedule (e.g., within 90 days), except where retention is required for legal, security, or dispute resolution needs.

    7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you.
    • Correct inaccurate information.
    • Delete your account and associated data, subject to legal exceptions.
    • Export your data in a portable format, where we can reasonably provide it.
    • Withdraw consent to optional processing, where processing is based on consent.
    • Opt out of certain internal model training choices as described in the product and Terms.

To exercise rights, contact legal@repvera.com. We may need to verify your identity.

    8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and, where applicable, at rest, access controls, and vendor diligence. No system is perfect; you are responsible for the security of your own credentials and devices.

    9. Children's Privacy

RepVera is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will take appropriate action, which may include deletion.

    10. International Users

RepVera is operated from the United States. If you access the service from other countries, you consent to transfer and processing in the U.S. EEA/UK users may request information on transfers (including Standard Contractual Clauses) at legal@repvera.com.

    11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. For material changes, we will provide notice (for example, at least 14 days) before the effective date where required. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance for non-material updates or where permitted.
