Giovanna Ventola

Giovanna is a great leader and I felt supported and inspired working with/for her. She recognizes people’s abilities and skills and facilitates an environment where people can grow while doing their job at a high level. She takes feedback well and actually looks for feedback, which makes the work environment/org feel like it’s always progressing.

I had the opportunity to work with Giovanna in a consulting capacity, providing strategic guidance and helping shape the direction of her company. She is a visionary and driven leader who is passionate about her business and committed to its growth and members. I appreciated her openness to new perspectives and willingness to explore different approaches. She brings a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a clear sense of purpose to her work, making her a great person to collaborate with. Giovanna has been an extremely visionary and engaging person to connect with. We met in June 2026 when I joined a nonprofit that she co-created and runs, and her work ethic are evident in the way she onboards new member, equips event leaders, and provides personal time for any member. I have personally worked with her as an event leader myself and she provides important information I used to better guide the attendees with a place to share, grow, and connect with people outside their typical professional network. She is always open to feedback of any kind, and empowers members to leverage the free resources and offerings of the nonprofit.

I first connected with Giovanna while navigating a career pivot. I have talent acquisition background and training as a mental health therapist and reached out to get involved with her nonprofit, Rhize, which connects job seekers to resources for their job search. I now volunteer there, leading a series that helps working professionals navigate the challenges of unemployment, including the mental health side of it. Giovanna is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about the success of the resources she provides! Members in my small groups have nothing but positive things to say about her. She's committed to creating a space where people don't feel alone and have real tools during tough economic times and a constantly changing world of work. She's an inspiring leader!

Giovanna and I were introduced a few months ago, and we connected right away. She genuinely cares about people and has such a gift for bringing them together to support one another. What she’s building with Rhize is next level. Her commitment to making sure people who’ve been laid off have the resources, connections, and community they need to get through a tough season is something I really admire. I absolutely love getting to work with her in any capacity. She’s one of a kind!
